Can anyone help? I've just finished knitting a Cinderella doll, and I wanted to put the photos on this site. I've had a quick try, but can't seem to do it.

Hi Lyn,

I'm not very good at this, but I do it by putting them on photobucket first, then copying and pasting the image.
Hope that makes sense!

Hiya Lyn

As Doreen said it might be easier to pop it on the NRAS Photobucket first.

Once you've done that, if you look on your picture on the right you'll have a box with various links in for email, direct link etc if you copy the bottom one labelled IMG Code here it should show the pic :)

or if you store the pic elsewhere paste the link for example..

http://www.bagpuss.org.uk/img/ToyCharlieMouse.jpg

then highlight the link and click the little button above the text window that looks like a mountain with the sun on it (3rd on in the second batch of icons) that will put the required code for the forum either side of the link

Hope this helps :)

Thanks for your suggestions. It wouldbe easier if I put them on photobucket, and take it from there.

Hello Lyn

I would love to see your knitted Cinderella, l have just knitted a Snow white and then adapted the pattern for Ariel, now trying to adapt to make Cinderella.

Are you knitting from a pattern or your own design, if its a pattern could you let me know how to get it?

My Grand-Daughter is over the moon with her dolls s far, l have to make Sleeping Beauty and Belle too so a big job!

Hi Christine

you sound busy too! I bought a booklet before Christmas called Christmas Specials by Jean Greenhowe, there's a website where I found a lot of booklets for sale. I made some Nativity figures first, then knitted the Cinderella one. I shall knit some more Nativity figures for next Christmas as I only managed to knit Mary, Joseph and Jesus last time. The company is called Sew Essential, but I can't find their web address.

I still haven't sorted the photos, I tried to put them on Photobucket, but it has changed since I last did it, and I couldn't get both photos in one place, they seemed to be all over the place and not in my album.

Hi both

Mary L is also an expert at knitting this stuff. She has made 3 topsy-turvy dolls for me, which sit on the windowsill of my bedroom, 3 fantastic large dolls for Livvie including a beautiful Cinderella, and the nativity set, which is quite amazing, for George.

Love Jeanxxx
